Women’s Premier Level Soccer Team

Langley FC is very excited about the addition of a Women's Premier level soccer team to our club this 2009/2010 year. This team is made up of players from age 18 and up who can play at a Premier level in a very competitive league - the Metro Women's Soccer League.

We encourage all Langley FC players, coaches, parents and community members to come and watch these very skilled women who are taking the field, right here in Langley.

The addition of this team is just the start of our Langley FC club’s plan to evolve from being a youth only club to one of the few clubs who offer “lifelong” soccer opportunities. The idea that our Langley girls soccer players will be able to play this great sport until they are 40+ years old is absolutely incredible. Not only can our elite players aspire to play on this Premier team, but all level players can look forward to being able to play at the Division 1, Division 2, Division 3 or Division 4 levels as well. Having brought this Premier team to our Club will allow for us to have teams in all the Divisions below that team, thus allowing many young women to continue on in this sport for years after their youth or university soccer careers are completed.

The Langley FC Executive has already put in countless hours getting this team secured on the Metro Women's schedule and we will continue to support these women and others like them who have the desire to continue on in soccer after they turn 18, the same way we support our current club teams.

We hope that you will be excited about this addition to our Club and will come out and support them at home games this fall. It would be a great way for your team to spend a couple hours together, getting to know each other better and watching some great soccer in your own back yard. It doesn't get any better than that.
